This is Ms. Erin’s 5th year as an IST at The Joseph Sams School. Ms. Erin has a brother with Autism which prompted her pursuit into the world of special needs over 10 years ago. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Science (pre-occupational therapy) from the University of Florida. She received her Masters from the University of Georgia, that includes Special Education with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Ms. Erin is also taking courses towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analysis. She has studied abroad in Ireland through UGA’s special education program and worked with individuals with ASD. When Ms. Erin has free time, she enjoys reading, SEC football, and spending time with friends as well as family including her new daughter born this past Mother’s Day.
