Heather has been with Kool Kidz, Inc. since in 2004. She received her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University in 1994 and has an undergraduate degree in Physical Anthropology from the University of Buffalo. She has more than 20 years of experience as a physical therapist beginning first in rehabilitation at Tampa General Hospital and Shepherd Center as well as acute care and home health before transitioning to pediatrics. She has been working as a pediatric physical therapist for 6+ years, and has taken continuing education courses in Sensory Integration, NDT, sports medicine, and biomechanics and has an interest in Aquatic Therapy. She enjoys practicing in the natural environment of a child’s home, playground, pool, daycare, or wherever a child may play. Heather treats kids in Fayetteville, Peachtree City, and Newnan as well as providing aquatics in Peachtree City. She also helps lead the Student Clinical Program at Kool Kidz.
Heather loves working with Kool Kidz, Inc. because of the flexibility of her schedule, treating in the pool, and the challenge of incorporating therapy into a child’s daily life. The children and families she’s met through Kool Kidz are her biggest inspiration.
Outside of work Heather enjoys spending time with her 3 children, bike riding, yard work, and photography.
