03 Apr The JSS Sporting Clay Tournament
A fun and unique event, the Sporting Clay Tournament attracts participants from local and surrounding communities, and primarily targets those in the construction industry. Held at Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, GA, the tournament attracts roughly 300 shooters, and is graciously hosted by Michael Harbin, Allen Harp, Brent Scarbrough, and Bob Rolader. Year after year, this event is always met with great support and comradeship, and it provides a generous gift to The Joseph Sams School.
We recognize that the Covid-19 pandemic continues to cause many uncertainties for all of us and the school remains considerate of this. We feel the Sporting Clay remains a safe alternative. Numerous precautionary measures will be taken for the safety of all participants. If you are not comfortable, but would still like to participate, you may donate a team. After all, the students and families are counting on us now more than ever.
The tournament schedule is provided below. We will begin at 8:00am with breakfast, and conclude around noon with a home cooked barbeque lunch, raffle prizes and awards ceremony.
