The Joseph Sams School PTO

The Joseph Sams School has a very active and involved PTO. The Parent Group not only offers support for parents but also provides assistance to the school and the staff in numerous ways.

A few of the activities in which the group is involved include: creating The JSS Yearbook, raising funds to support classroom supplies or equipment and curriculum needs, planning Grandparents’ Day, hosting staff appreciation luncheons and events, etc.

All parents are invited to join and participate in The JSS PTO.

Helpful Parent Resources

Each year the school has expanded its enrollment in order to meet the needs of the families requesting admission to the program. In 1992, the school responded to the request of parents and offered a full day program for the first time in order that these children’s educational and therapeutic needs be better met. The school maintains a strong relationship with its families and has experienced support from parents and community members in developing the program over its twenty years.
